OK, I know the bear -- shot by her dad -- speaks volumes to Sarah Palin's cred as an Alaskan, but this whole thing is bothering me...It just feels like such disgraceful pandering, to select a woman for the ticket with so little experience, the self-proclaimed hockey mom who came to public office through the PTA.
Yes, it's great for a woman to be on the ticket, but was there really no other woman qualified to occupy the seat?
